Samuel E. Trosow

Samuel E. Trosow is an Associate Professor at the University of Western Ontario in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS) and the Faculty of Law. He primarily teaches courses at the law school in the area of intellectual property, and in FIMS in the area of information policy. His research focuses on different aspects of information law and policy in the digital environment and is a frequent speaker on copyright policy. Professor Trosow is currently a Network Investigator and Project Leader in the Graphics, Animation and New Media (GRAND) NCE which has provided support for this project. In 2007-08 he was the visiting scholar in residence at the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) and is currently a member of CAUT’s Librarians’ Committee, and the Copyright Committee of the Canadian Library Association. Professor Trosow is a member of the Digital Labour Group.
