Lise Lareau

Lise Lareau is National President of the Canadian Media Guild, which represents 6,000 employees and freelancers across the country, including those at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Canadian Press, TVO, TFO, the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, Thomson Reuters and S-Vox (soon to be ZoomerTV). She became Guild president following 15 years as a TV producer at CBC. She writes a regular blog on the media industry (linked from her union’s web site at www.cmg.ca) and has had a front row seat on the many changes in the media industry for the past decade.
