Elise Lobbedez

Elise Lobbedez is a lecturer (equivalent assistant professor) at the University of Essex, United Kingdom. Her research focuses on the dynamics of power and resistance, with an emphasis on the possibility of socio-ecological transformation in repressive settings. She studies activist work and collective forms of resistance through ethnography, and more generally, qualitative methods. Elise is also a member of the editorial collective of ephemera: theory & politics in organization.
